How Collecting Opium Antiques Turned Me Into an Opium Addict

This artwork is captioned “Acidtester’s Safari Girl. Sex on the beach.” It is part of a series of about two dozen similar faux comics covers that can be best seen in this gallery. Part of this series (and additional related work) can be seen in the galleries for the Safari-Girl DeviantArt account. It would appear that the Safari-Girl account is in fact controlled by the artist called Acidtester. Evidence includes (1) the listing by “Safari-Girl” of “Acidtester” under “Favorite visual artist” in the DeviantArt profile; (2) a comment on the e-hentai.org gallery to the effect that “I remember this artist from an old quicksand forum. It’s AcidTester, Safari Girl is just his creation”; and (3) an Origins gallery with comments making it clear that the person posting as “Safari-Girl” is indeed the creator of the series, rather than (say) a more recent fan and imitator. Finally, the character in the DA Safari-Girl galleries is named Rebecca Longale, which overlaps with art featuring the same character sinking in quicksand, done in a similar style but identified as AcidTester’s work at awesomecore Quicksand (possibly the “old quicksand forum” referenced above.)
